92 240 Transmission Slip 200 1992

I have a 92 240 with 120,000 miles. I began noticing a slight transmission slip when I first put the car in drive. (Does not happen in reverse). It hangs up for a couple of seconds, then engages smoothly. The fluid is the proper level but the color is a bit off. I am going to try having the transmission fluid changed and the filter changed also. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.
