EZ & LH 2.? switch in a b23f

Is it possible to switch the old CIS/Volvo ignition & LH from my 84 244dl w/ b23f to the newer EZig. & LH from a newer (89+) B230f? What may be the major obsticles? I'm trying to figure out what to do w/ the ride right now. I'm about to put the engine back in, after a machine job... I'm not too comfortable w/ ignition set-ups & I'm looking to make this as painless as possible, and reliable, for this will be my daily driver. Engine has much done to it: port/polish, valves, the reg. N/A tuning tricks... any help w/b greatly appreciated. Thanks much.
