Idling then STOP 200 1982

Hi,

I have a turbo 1982 244.

Love the car. I just replaced the plugs, wires, cap, turbo, fuel filter, oil and filter.

Today, I started the car and left it idle for about 5 to 10 minutes and it stopped running.

I haven't been able to start it since. When I try the engine turns over but it sounds like its backfiring under the injectors/air cleaner assembly.

The car was running excellent till today, no missing, idled fine, etc.

Please help.....
