245ti hesitates A LOT when cold accelerating 200 1983

Hey all,

Went through and replaced a large number of pieces on the 245 and it now runs MUCH better. Fuel pressure checks out OK, except we werent able to check it while under decent load. Replaced the fuel filter anyways. Timing looks good.

When the car is cold, it hesitates alot, bucking violently sometimes, at anything above about 25% throttle. At some point, usually when the temperature needle gets to about 1/3 towards warm from cold... The problem completely, 100%, disappears.

Any similar experiences/ideas? It would seem that if the cold start injection system was not working, it would improve gradually, rather than all at once.

Thanks all...

Chris
