940 turbo wagon brakes 900 1994

Good afternoon all,

I (my wife's) have a 1994 940 turbo wagon that I am just about tired of turning/replacing front rotors and pads. I bought the car with 80k miles, and it now has 110k miles. I have turned the rotors twice, relaced them once, and changed pads each time. The pins and boots are in good shape, and I torque the lug nuts. the tires are 1-1/2 years old and are rotated and ballanced on schedule.

A trip this past weekend into the North Geargia mountains (we are only talking 2k-3k feet in altitude here) trashed the front brakes for the fourth time in 30k miles. I knew it when it happened slowing down from 80 mph to take a quick exit.

I'm just about fed up with the car, but my wife still enjoys driving it. Does anyone know about a brake upgrade or something I might be doing wrong?

Thanks for the help,
Chris Hollis
