Residual Fuel Pressure Question 200 1982

82 DL w/ K-Jet Injection

My car has been taking longer to start lately. I changed the main fuel pump yesterday which inlcuded a new check valve. The injectors have been replaced (Bosch) and have only 10k on them. This morning it still took about 10 turns of the engine for it to start. (It was ~32°F this morning) I have a new fuel accumulator, (the grenade-looking device next to the pump.) should I have changed it as well, I spent 20 min on of the fittings on it and decided to just replace the pump. There are no leaks that I can find.

If I cycle the pumps before I start the car it it fires up after one turn of the engine.

I havent checked the cold start valve but the fact that it start so readily after cycling the pumps leads me to believe that the cold start valve although possibly faulty, isnt the culprit here.

Anything else I should be looking for??

Matt
