Rough Idle: Solutions not so obvious..

Umm actually WD40 burns QUITE well....
So it's good for finding leaks, since it makes the idle go up... like adding more fuel. I agree it sounds like a fairly good sized vacuum leak somewhere. That air hose is a prime suspect since someone's already tried to fix it. Grab one in the junkyard or new. Inspect the old ones closely...
