Cleaning Oil Galleries -- Part 2

Don't use injector cleaner in the oil system!
I think it's a waster øf time to manually clean the top end unless it's so crudded up the engine won't run. And then you have to ensure the crud doesn't get where it shouldn't and at that point you'd be better off rebuilding the engine.
I'd just run a good flush (amsoil makes one) through the engine and switch to synthetic oil. Amsoil will clean out the crud pretty good, change the oil in a couple thousand miles or when it gets dirty, whichever comes first, and then change oil every 10K, unless your engine goes through so much oil that combustion byproducts contaminate the oil.

I use amsoil 15W/40 marine oil in my 90 744T with about 15-16lbs of boost.
