Brake Problems 700 1986

I have a 1986 Volvo 740 GLE. I am having problems with the driver side front brake. I have had the disc milled down and they are all still in the size range. When I drive the front brake rattles. It seems like the brake is not holding any pressure against the disc. i have bleed that brake and it still did not help the problem any. If i apply slight pressure to the brakes then it will stop ratteling. If you know why this is happening then please let me know.
