Don't get me wrong, I like my Volvo as much as the next guy but you're telling me your 2900 lb car is going to be faster than a Civic Si? The late 80's Civics were 1800 lbs and had 93 factory hp. The 2002 models weigh more but now have 160HP. My intercooled turbo just barely makes 160HP! My opinion is that Volvo 240s are safe, fun, easy to work on cars, But... if you want to beat what the Japanese are putting on the street today, you better have a V8 under the hood.
