Riddle me this, Mr. Foster 700 1988

I have had two problems with the OD on two different cars. If your OD has done a few miles then sometimes they need a thicker viscosity oil or trans fluid and it will run fine, worked for me on my 242GT manual. I think the hydraulic pump gets worn out with age, also sometimes they wont kick in until a higher speed. I live in a hot climate and when it was hot my OD wouldn't run until I changed the fluid
