Heater tube gasket bulged out on water pump 700

Hi all!

I have a small leak coming from the heater tube gasket on the back of my water pump. The gasket appears to have either popped out on one side or was never put in correctly in the first place. I tried putting some Goop on it to slow/stop the leak, but that is starting to fail.

Therefore, I have a few questions:

Does this point to another problem with the car/cooling system?

Is there an easy way to get that gasket popped back in?

Would I need to remove the water pump to do this or can the heater tube be pulled back?

Is that gasket a specialty item particular to the water pump or Volvos?

Thanks, in advance.
