Perhaps the one way valve on the fuel pump isnt working which would allow fuel to run back into the tank after the engine stops. If this happens......little or no pressure in the line. Try turning the key to run position 3-4 times without starting. The fuel pump will run for a couple of seconds each time. Then try to start the engine.
