Oiling Order 200 1985

Never done this to a volvo motor, but have put new bearings in numerous older motors in my early years. Old chevy 6 (47), old plymouth 6 (49) , old tractor (46?), Diamond REO truck (50 something) (like a GM 6 only bigger), several Cushman scooter engines. Fairly common work back then. Usually worked OK. None of these engines were high rpm. Used 'plastigage' and shims behind bearings (paper shims; believe it or not), to get best fit.

Tuition paid to learn something is usually worth the price.

Good luck.
