Steering Noise 900

I have notice, with more frequency, a loud moaning sound when I crank my steering wheel (more pronounced in a tight radius turn and when the brakes are appled). Also, when I leave the wheels in the turned position for a few hours and later back-out it moans. In addition, (I am not sure if it is related) when driving I feel a dull vibration coming from the middle of the steering wheel. It feels like the steering shaft is vibrating and resonanting up to the steering wheel.

I had the control arm bushings replaced at the begining of this year. Any suggestions? I have a 95 960 with 115,000 mi

thanks
