6cyl in a 142 140-160

i was a after a lot more power than the little volvo 4cylinder can put out and i was wondering can i fit a volvo 6 cyl into a 142 without too much trouble.
or would i be better off staying with a 4cyl??(maybe a supercharged B23FT)
