how can i check my turbo oil return line is clear without removing it from the car? 900

Just two bolts remove the turbo drain line. You will also need to remove the wastegate actuator rod. Be sure to have the lower o-ring and a new gasket for the upper end. If the engine is cold, it is an easy job. If you start this job while the engine is not, it will be cold by the time you are able to complete the job.

The previous owner's of my wife' 745T neglected oil changes, the the oil galleys in the block were full of all kinds of old oil deposits. The turbo drain line, while having some crud in it, was free to drain. I doubt that yours is plugged.
