Gonna re-carpet the Tank tomorrow. . . .Help! 200

Hey guys! I got my replacement carpet (forgot the name . . . Something like Auto Custom Carpets) for my '86 240 DL sedan and they look pretty darn close to the original navy blue carpet (minus the holes, tears, and faded spots). Anyhoo, I've got a few questions that ya'll might be able to answer.

1. How the heck do I remove the center console? I'm talking about where the seatbelts clip into and where the E-Brake is.

2. Seatbelts . . . the lower anchor (between the front and rear doors) has a bolt and it looks like I can use it only one time. Anyone know the size of this bolt so I can replace it when I'm done?

3. Any other hints, tricks or words of wisdom for those who have recarpeted their interior before?

I really wanna do this right and make the Tank look and smell fresh again. Thanks guys, this is a really great site.

Nick
