how can i check my turbo oil return line is clear without removing it from the car? 900

Thanks John,

I think I have diagnosed the seals on my turbo are shot...

its using about 1/10 litre of oil round town, but on a fast run (75 ish) it uses 1/3 -1/2 litre and most of that seems to be ending up in the pipe work from the turbo to the throttle body...though curiously eneough only get a table spoon at MOST out of the intercooler...

the plugs look as though its been burning a bit too...

Im going to compression test the engine before i make a decision though..no point doing the turbo if the engines not healthy...

Haynes says to pull the LT on the coil and the wires to the fuel injectors first..what are your thoughts...?

Im also getting cunning and have fabricated a pickle switch that i can wire onto the low current side of the solanoid so i can crank the engine without the ignition on.. can you see any downside?

your opinions really appreciated as always...
