LSD for 744 700

I was running the Volvo LSD (actually a Dana Powerlock with a Volvo tone ring) until it needed service. I changed to the Detroit TrueTrac. I like the TrueTrac better. For off road service the clutch type LSD may be better, but for street driving I definately prefer the TrueTrac.

If you go with the TrueTrac, you will need to buy the tone ring (speedometer pulse wheel) that Volvo uses on their LSD differential, and the installer will need to machine a very small amount from the OD of the TrueTrac assembly. Seth at MVP has the part numbers (that is a good place to buy the tone ring), or I can get them for you. What ratio are you running, 3.73 or 3.54? I still have the TrueTrac part number for my 3.54 ratio installtion in a box upstairs.
