temp. gauge wiring 200

1988, 240, 5 speed, 232,000
I'm trying to trace the wiring for the temp. gauge on the dash. The gauge has been inoperative since purchase 040102. Absolutely no movement at all.
I've replaced the 1 wire temp sender under the intake manifold. Wiring from the sender to the gray connector on the firewall.
From there I get lost as to where the wire goes and which color it might become? Which wire in the dash connector powers the gauge?
Thanks in advance any thoughts.
