Should I Buy? 1989

As RHaire said. the '89 has a Computer (ECU) that supposedly fails easily. I have the original in my '89 and it's still happy. I did buy a spare on e-bay though.
If the car has 150K on the odometer you may want to ask if he did the Motor mounts and the Rear axle Bushings, Specifically the Trailing Arm Bushing. With 150K they are do to be done, It's not the end of the world but it would be nice if he did it before you have to.
If you are new to Volvos, check the archives for typical 200 maintanence. Flame trap, 25 amp fuse, Compensation board.
I'd want a lot more then $3000 for mine.
