What to do to put b21ft/m46 in 1969 142 140-160 1969

Hi all,
I have a b21ft sitting in my garage and a 142 sitting there also they look like they should fit, but I need to know some info on swapping them together. Do I need to cut a tranni tunnel out of a later 142 or a 240 so I can use the m46 shifter, (or could I just cut a hole where the shifter will poke through)? I want the engine tilted because I don't want to have to modify the intake manifold for the brake booster, is there any reason why this wouldn't work?
I don't want to hear "just build up your b20, a lot of power can be made from one" because I know that but I want a turbo and NOT a b20 turbo. I do have a welder and many of the other neccessary tools to make all the necessary changes.
Has anyone (here) done this swap, (even with a NA engine)?
Please respond asap as I want to get this started as soon as possible (winter project).
Thanks in Advance!
Sean
