brakes S90-V90

please be sure to respond to my direct email and not here. i cannot always get the the board and i am in need of help.

i recently replaced the front brake pads on the wife's s90. everything slid in correctly and bolted back in the right spot. here's my trouble: when stopping in reverse, i hear a clanking sound from the front. it's nothing but what i think is the brake pads being loose in their housing. from how i understood the process, all i oul have done is drop the new pads in and bolted the caliper piece back down. should i have locked the pads in anywhere or did i miss something else??

again, PLEASE be sure to email me direct and not here at the board.
