LSD for 744 700

1) So does the TrueTrac ever lock up in curves?
2) If it does lock at speed, what causes it to do so?
3) How would that behaviour be affected if the driver has an automatic trans?

I expect that if the TrueTrac ever locks in curves, then it would feel just like your earlier LSD with the tight clutches (ie. rear wheels using part of their traction against ear other, rear end suddenly breaking loose, oversteer fishtail).

I'm convinced that there has to be some reason that people gravitate to the clutch-based LSD over the TrueTrac, and I'm sure it's not just $.
