Sunroof Headliner removal question 700

Today i was attempting to fix the sunroof sag problem and take a look underneath the thing. I figured that the first thing to do was push the headliner back. However, after i removed the springs and went to push it back, the thing only went back about 4 inches. I took my flashlight and found out that there are some tabs attached to the headliner that hit one of the metal parts on the track that actually moves the sunroof back. I couldn't get the headliner past them. It doesn't go up or down around it. They are on both sides.

How do i get around this to push the headliner all the way back?
