misfiring '87 240 wagon 200 1987

The engine on my '87 240 DL wagon is misfiring. It has a bit of rythm to it but only really noticeable when I start out. Once going it seems ok although maybe a bit underpowered. When I stop at a light again it hesitates a bit then goes.

This started the other nite when I blew my water pump. Started leaking very bad and sparayed coolant all over engine. I did not have this problem before hand. I had the water pump, front seals and timing belt replaced while he was at it. I replaced plugs, rotor and dist. cap.

Any ideas? It driving me mad and not safe for my wife and child if it hesitates or worse, starts to stall when she pulls out in traffic.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
John
