Installing Fan In Center Dash. 700 1989

Has anyone installed a fan in the center dash to remove the heat build up in there? i live in southern california and it gets pretty hot here and i tend to not use my A/C due to the power drain, i am considering installing a fan down there somewhere to vent the heat and hopefully keep the relays and fuse connections cool, i know when the overheat they melt so trying to figure out a way to keep that from happining. Im trying to find out though if you have where did you hook it up, ( Which fuse or what way did you do it ) and where did you put yours.
