745 timing 700

my last post on this
thanks for all your responses
the problem is that there is a vertical distance of about an inch between the top of the pulley and the timing marks on the timing case meaning that the position of the timing light alters the settings
my first thought was that a smaller crank pulley had been fitted but it seems standard

any one know how to put a sketch on the post?

the cars running fine now but the setting has been largly guesswork
thanks again
doug
