1995 940 blower won't work 900 1995

Hi all,

I'm posting this message for a friend of mine who owns a 1995 940 sedan. The interior blower (for heater and A/C) is not working and I was hoping this might be something fairly simple I could fix for her before it gets too cold this winter.

Apparently, the fan first started acting weird by only blowing air on the highest setting. Then it stopped working altogether. I read some info on the FAQ about a possible resistor pack gone bad or bad blower motor. If anyone has more info about what might cause this problem, please post it here or email me directly. I would appreciate any help on where in the car the bad parts are located and what parts to inspect/test to troubleshoot the problem.
