How disable 95 940 day time running lights.

I got a switch from an early (88) 740 that did not have day time unning lights. The switches were exactly the same except on the 740 switch there is no blade for the red wire of the light wiring hareness. You could always just cut the red wire going to the switch but then there is no easy way to go back and repair that wire.


PS
I do not condone that tampering with safety equip like DRLs. However, I like to be in control, and I will counter the lack of DRLs with the euro style fender sidelights!
