Sunroof out of alignment. Scraping on drivers side 700 1991

Bricksters,

I have gouged the metal sunroof (electric) on the drivers side. When opening and closing the roof, something is scraping the top of the panel. I eyeballed the roof and it is definately higher on the driver's side. Sits slightly lower than flush on the passenger side, and higher than flush on the driver's side. I have searched the FAQs and found fixes for sag. Could the one side sagging cause the other side to rise? I pulled the headliner off the sunroof after driving home one evening and having the droop make me appear to be Arafat in a brick. The problem existed prior to this, but not nearly as bad. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TIA,

David
