Struts clunkin' Part II 200 1987

I had clunking at the same time I replaced my struts. It turned out to be that the tube nut was loose (you've verified) and the bushing housings were out of round. I had the local mechanic press in new bushings about a year earlier, but he beat the crap out of them. So, for me, replacing the front bushings and housings did it for me. Probably pretty unlikely source for most people, but I thought I just pass it along for info. The indy Volvo guy the found this for me said that it happens occasionally.
