Warning lights when accelerating 200 1986

Last time that happened to me, with an '81 240, it was a frayed spot on the insulation on a wire that swayed just enough under acceleration to ground out on the block. It was the very devil itself to find. Might be less time-consuming to wash everything down and just go ahead and tape all the potential friction/abrasion spots until you can get your new harness installed. Good luck. By the way, a heat lamp in a big reflector clamped to the hood is great for keeping your fingers unfrozen in crummy weather.
