Help on Bosch + Regina(?) problem, kinda long but need advice 700

No, it really isn't possible that you changed anything by putting in a different relay unless ALL of the relays you tried didn't work. Sometimes relays are cranky like that even if you resoldered them. You can switch those around as much as you like (as long as they work) and if they're "good" you'd never see any problem from the car.

I've worked on a lot of Regina cars now, and finally I have a good idea of what the MAIN faults are caused by.

1. Coil pack (no spark)
2. Crank position sensor (same as Bosch) no spark or erratic timing, rough running, etc.
3. EFI relay
4. Radio interference relay

Most of the rest of the system is pretty tight. They do have a few odds and ends, but the computer modules are very good and the rest of the system seems OK. Check for spark when you aren't standing in a puddle like you probably were tonight. If there is spark, forget the rest of the stuff.
