Yup, familiarity breeds contempt, nice to prove the old adages every now and then.

I once assembled an overdrive without putting the planetary gear back in, and re-fitted the gearbox to the car. I'd replaced the pins an Torrington rollers on it, wrapped it in a nice clean cloth and left it sitting prominently on the workbench.
