940 turbo trouble 900 1994

Hello, I have been having some intersesting trouble with my 940 turbo sedan and was interested to see if anyone else has had similiar problems. For some uknown reason my car's engine will cut off while im driving it, first i lose power and then all my warning lights come on. I still have electricity, the cd player works, windows, lights, evreything. If i wait a while, about 10 minutes i can drive it a little farther maybe about 2 miles or so, and then it will cut off again. If I let it sit overnight I can drive it for about 15 or 16 miles at 50 miles per hour before it cuts off again. I took it to autozone and had both the battery and the alternater checked, both were fine. So i now have little idea as to why it wont work. Any inshight would be appreciated, thanks.
