Fram SureDrain Plug ??'s 900

I was in Wal-Mart purchasing oil for an oil change and I saw a product by Fram called SureDrain. I never saw it before but have read of a similar product(Fumoto??). It's a permanent replacement valve/plug for the existing oil drain plug. When you change your oil, simply unscrew the protective brass cap and then attach a small hose with an acutator that triggers the release of the the oil from the pan. The Fumoto is around $25 plus S&H as I recall, the Fram is $13 at Wal-Mart. Seems like a handy device. The application chart indicates that the only one they sell for Volvos fits the 850 series. Does the 850 series have a different diameter oil drain plug then the 940 series? Has anyone tried this little gadget? I'd ever use Fram oil filters but this device looked very well made. All brass with rubber O rings.
