HELP LOCATING WHINE

Same problem / symptoms here. I have noticed coolant on my water pump. The wise bricksters on this board have informed me the water pump bearing may be on its way out. May attribute to part of the whine. Don't know if you have this problem or not. Also, I noticed my alternator is out of alignment with the rest of the pulleys. By moving the alternator slightly, the whine does go down. Spraying a little soapy water from an old 409 bottle almost quiets it completely. I believe my whine is a combo of the three.

BTW, if it is an alignment problem, IPD has poly bushing kits.

Hope this helps.
