brake rotor compatibility 140-160 1971

I've heard rumors that the vented disks from a 160 are a good upgrade for the solid units on a 140, but, so far nothing clearcut like "yah, I've got those on my car - works great." Has anyone given this a go? I imagine the calipers would need to be changed to compatible units as well.

There was a post a while back about using 240 turbo calipers (plus a little grinding, plus some hole enlargement) on 160 disks - is this an option on the 140 too?

Thanks

Joel
