HEAT/AIR VACUUM NOT WORKING FOR VENTS ETC? 200

On out 84 240 the buttons for the defrost/floor/fresh do not work & havent since we got the car. I replaced the blower motor last winter and checked all the hoses - everything seemed to be intact. If these come unhooked (which some did during that grueling blower motor switch)do they have to be recharged somehow or anything. Looks like all are connected now but i got nothing working. Any help would be appreciated!!
