Anyone regularly use dielectric grease??? 200

I just solved my mysterious bad idle and missing problem - a bad contact on one of the connectors. Don't know which, I just unplugged and plugged all that I could find thinking it might be a bad connection causing the problem. So I was wondering if anyone regularly used contact cleaner followed by dielectric grease on connectors and what thoughts you might pass along? I do know that I read somewhere that dielectric grease shouldn't be used on the O2 sensor conections.
