02 sensor replacement 700

Do you suppose it is the exact same part minus the connector???? I have found through this site that you can Pop out the Bosch wire connectors from the connector housing.
I did it to repair a injector connector. This bigger one should be easier. All it took for the injector connector was a very small jewlers screwdriver, inserting it, bending back a little metal tab and a push. If this could be done with the O2 sensor connector you could solder it and it would be like the original with no spliceing. And at $37 a real bargin for us on this site. I think that I will try to find out if there is any difference in the actual sensor, and try extracting the wires from the existing connector and solder relplacement of the new ones at the connector. Thanxs for the heads up on Autozone. Will repost if this works out.

Hey, I just Emailed Bosch with my question. Hope to get a response soon. After all
how many of these types of emails can they get? What I can say is that they list both as the right part for my car and, both with a replacement interval of 60,000
miles. They also had this thing where they showed you how the 02 sensor pays for itself by the all that gas that you save!!!!!!
