Hello all I have an 87 780 with the V6 engine. I would like to install a manual transmission in this car. I already have a doner 740 but the transmission for the v6 car is set about 8 inches forward of the 4 cyl car. Has anyone done this and what parts are needed to get the shifter into the right alignment. Also does the 4cyl flywheel work on hte v6? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am planning an engine swap in a couple of years to a v8, in hte mean time I ma testing the longevity of the supposedly improved PRV V6.
