I Suggest clear epoxy

Thanx for the suggestions all, much appreciated. BTW most of my other GLUE related repairs have been with Gorrila Glue in certain applications this stuff is amazingly strong i.e. interior door/rest handle/drivers side, exterior moldings, interior plastic pieces ,nice thing is for my luvolee buttascotch interior is that it matches the color closely when dry the draw back is that it expands with activation, but can be trimed.

I may try the 2 part epoxy then do a seal job with the silicon/I live in Florida and wet weather rules here most of the year.

Frank in OH, I am replacing the "clear backup" rear lense in my 88,240wagon for some reason its the only replacement lense that I could find for the rear assembly/I guess short of that you have to replace the entire assembly ranging in price from 75 to around 125 box for a new unit. I paid 6 bux for the replace lense as the rest of the unit is in decent shape. I bot it at WWW.FCPGroton.com. Great customer service and fast delivery.

Thanx again Dean
