1991 Volvo 240 Wagon 200

I want to thank everyone, Art, Garyh, Smitty, Haroon, Jkordzi, who responded to my request for help with regard to my 1991 240 Wagon sometimes not starting after it has been driven for a while and then sits. All the suggestions were helpful and I gave them to the mechanic who was working on it. Keep in mind that the vehicle has NEVER lost power once we get it started. Thursday a new starter was put in (the other was ground into the ground after a year of this nonsense). The car has been starting perfectly since then (not unusual for it to work perfectly for a few days and then go into the non-starting mode). Also, the outside temperature is getting cooler, which seems to help the problem. Stand by for future reports.

By the way, I also have a 1989 780 4 cylinder turbo, the worlds greatest vehicle. At 110,000 miles, the only real repair has been a new radiator, a few years ago. Never changed the fuel pump, water pump or anthing else of note. I have had it since 1990.

Thanks again. Goose
