Bad Vibrations 700 1986

I just had 4 new tires put on my 86' 745ti and on the way home, once I hit about 60mph the car began to vibrate really bad. I went back to the garage but they had closed for the day. Before I go back to ask them to rebalance, is there another possibility? The car was smooth as silk before this no matter how fast I was going. It doesn't make sense that the tire balance would be off that bad. They are a very good garage and I never had any problems. Any Ideas? Thanks.
