Replaced everything, still noisy 900 1992

This one's had me stumped for a few months.

I replaced the exhaust from the cat back with a "Starla/Walker" system, and sealed all the joints in the exhaust with copper sealant. The exhaust shields are still solid and intact. I also replaced the transmission mount and center support bearing and carrier. All is good and fairly quiet until I in the range of 3100 - 3300 rpm. Then a booming noise begins. Kind of like a blown exhaust. Above and below this rpm range, it seems to go away. It's driving me crazy because this is the rpm range where I do a lot of highway driving.

My sincere gratitude to anyone who can help. Thanks.
