M46 Transmission - AGAIN!! 700

Hi guys,

Hopefully my last post on this subject! I have a 1988 740 Turbo with M46 4speed manual wi Odrive. As you may or may not know I was having problems with OD engaging by itself. I also couldn't engage it manually - no lights (number 5) displayed on dashboard either.

Traced to a failed solenoid, this has been replaced and the self engaging OD symptom has stopped......means I can reverse now! Anyway, it still won't engage so I am without OD. I believe it is electrical although I have traced the wiring and all seems intact.

Could it be the relay or would it be something else? I am getting no indicator on the dash either. Your help is massively appreciated. Apart from that it is a mint car and goes like stink!
