Timing gear question 120-130

Yeah, the only time you have to replace BOTH is if you are changing to
a steel gearset. If you just replace the fiber gear you don't have to
replace the crank gear. The one time I did replace both gears in my
164, using a factory fiber gearset, somehow the crank gear was slightly
eccentric and made 2 very heavy wear patterns on opposite sides of the
fiber cam gear. (Not sure how this happened, still got the gear on
the crank in my garage, not in use.)
